Premium Leather
Our sneakers use high-grade leather that develops a unique character over time. To maintain its suppleness:
- Clean: Wipe away dirt with a soft, damp cloth.
- Condition: Apply a neutral leather cream every 2-3 months to prevent cracking.
- Protect: Use a water-repellent spray before the first wear to guard against stains.
Suede & Nubuck
These delicate materials require specific attention to keep their soft texture:
- Brush: Use a specialized suede brush to remove surface dust and restore the "nap."
- Stains: For liquid spills, pat gently with a clean cloth. Never rub.
- Avoid Water: Try to avoid wearing suede in heavy rain.
Breathable Mesh
Designed for comfort and airflow, our mesh sneakers are durable but need gentle cleaning:
- Spot Clean: Use a soft toothbrush with cold water and a drop of mild detergent.
- No Machines: We strongly advise against machine washing, as it can damage the structural adhesives.
Soles & Insoles
The foundation of your comfort needs care too:
- Rubber Soles: Clean with a magic eraser or soapy water to keep them bright.
- Freshness: Remove insoles after long wear to allow them to air out completely.
The VeraStep Golden Rules
Rotate Your Pairs: Avoid wearing the same shoes two days in a row. Giving them 24 hours to "rest" helps the materials retain their shape and moisture levels.
Natural Drying: Always air dry shoes at room temperature. Never place them near a heater or in direct sunlight, as extreme heat causes leather to stiffen and glue to weaken.
